Citrus Springs

The city of Citrus Springs, located in northeast Citrus County, is just 90 miles north of Tampa and 90 miles northwest of Orlando.  Citrus Springs is a beautiful community with plenty of outdoor activities for the whole family.  If golfing is your thing, Citrus Springs offers two championship courses, Citrus Springs and El Diablo.  Although both courses offer country club memberships, a membership is not required to play either course.  Wesley Jones Park, in Citrus Springs, offers basketball courts, softball fields, volleyball, picnic areas, and a playground for the little ones.  If you enjoy spending your time in the water, there is fishing, swimming and boating at Lake Adrian.  The new Citrus Springs Community Center and Citony Recreation Center have softball and baseball fields, basketball courts, horseshoes, shuffleboard, and bocce.  Citrus Springs also has several festivals during the year, such as, Citrus Springs Family Fun Day, the Blue Grass Festival, and arts and crafts show, and the Country Music Festival.
